As a family-friendly operation, Captain TJ focuses on creating the kind of memorable days on the water that made him fall in love with fishing as a kid. You’ll fish aboard the Bout Time, a 41-foot Hatteras powered by twin Cummins 450hp engines. The boat is equipped with dual live-bait wells, Simrad electronics, and high-quality fishing gear. As one of the larger charter boats in Islamorada, it offers a stable, comfortable ride even when conditions are rougher than what smaller boats can handle.
Located in the heart of the Florida Keys, Islamorada is known as the “Sportfishing Capital of the World,” and Bout Time Sportfishing runs trips here year-round. Choose from full-day, 3/4-day, half-day, or shark-fishing charters. All ages and experience levels are welcome.

Just finished up a four-hour trip with TJ and the Bout Time Sportfishing crew and all I can say is it was awesome. TJ got us right on the yellowfin and we quickly reached our two-person limit (20 total). We even had a fun cat-and-mouse moment with a hungry 8-foot shark cruising around the boat. Hard to imagine a better afternoon on the water.
