From start to finish, CJ is dedicated to helping you succeed in spearfishing and landing the fish of your dreams! While CJ caters to both beginners and experienced divers, his Bluefin Tuna charters require relatively strong comfort in the water and familiarity with equipment like spearguns and float lines. If you are not able to comfortably in depths of 50-60 ft, CJ recommends that you take a free diving and spearfishing course with him before hunting Bluefin. Once your skills are up to par, we can get you on the fish!
CJ is an in-water guide which means he’ll be nearby and ready to lend a helping hand at all times. Since you’ll be on the water for majority of the day we strongly encourage you to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and any food or additional drinks you may want to have on board.

Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! If you’re eager to hunt bluefin tuna spearfishing style, this trip is perfect for you. Starting around 9 AM and returning around 9 PM, we’ll head offshore in search of the elusive bluefin tuna.
Once we locate a school of fish, you’ll receive instructions to jump into the water, giving you the chance to shoot a fish! Your guide will be nearby throughout, ensuring your safety.
Remember to pack sunscreen, sunglasses, and any snacks or drinks you’d like to have on board.

Cleaning & Filleting
Upon arrival from your day on the water, your catch will be filleted and bagged for you and your family/friends to take home and enjoy!
Live Bait Well
Our Captain’s boat is equipped with a live bait well, which may be used to hold bait and other smaller fish you may catch.
Rods, Reels, & Tackle
Our Captains are prepared with all the equipment necessary to catch whatever may swim your way! All the rods, reels, tackle, and bait will be provided to target whatever species you are hoping to catch!
You Keep Catch
Aside from the species required to be released by law and some species that may not be recommended as table fair, whatever fish are landed while out on the water are yours to keep!
