We’re leave around 7 am and will ride 25-70 miles to the Sword grounds. Along the way, we’ll pass through excellent offshore fishing grounds where Mahi, Marlin, Tuna, and Sailfish are often spotted.
On the return journey, time permitting, we’ll make a few drops in the deep for a variety of fish, including Snowy Grouper, Tile Fish, Black Belly Rose Fish, Barrel Fish, Yellow Edge Grouper, and more.

Capt Jake knows where the fish are! Guaranteed good time! Hooked huge skipjacks, blackfins, yellowtail, amberjacks, king fish, and mutton all in an afternoon. Filled a yeti 250! Awesome guy, perfect professional. Even hooked a 10 foot mako and got to fight that bad boy for nice long time. Highly recommend Capt Jake and Deep End Charters! Thanks for the memories we will be back to Key West to see you soon.

My first experience in the Florida Keys and I must say it now will be a yearly guys trip. This past July, my cousin and I hatched a plan to go deep sea fishing in Florida.
After adding a thrid buddy we set out to the florida Keys, destination Key West.
Amazing time!! Being my first time, I was pretty nervous being 100 yards from shore, we were a few miles from shore bouncing through swells and I was without a care with Captain Jake.
Captain Jake supplied Live Bait and all the equipment necesary to land tuna, sail fish and Mahi Mahi. When our poles hit the water the fish were biting. I had three fights, lost the first one and Captain Jake was able to show me what I was doing wrong and teach me the right way to easily land a fish in the boat. I like to say i was undefeated with the help of Captain Jake. Thanks and see you next November.

If you are considering going fishing in key west, There is no better fishing charter captain then Jake I have finished with jake the last five years or so and he always puts us on Fish. He’s not afraid to burn the gas to get to the best spots that only he knows and if the fish are not biting at that spot he does not hesitate to pull anchor and move. Best Captain I’ve ever fished with and I’m very much looking forward to the next two days of fishing to load my freezer for the year
