Joining Captain Chris Mendola’s team in 2018, Kyle’s expertise spans 15 years of commercial fishing and deep-sea diving for lobsters, making him your go-to guide for unforgettable charter.
You’ll fish aboard a 32′ Whitewater Center Console, ‘The 2 Far Out. This boat is fully equipped with a stereo system, live well, and all necessary Coast Guard certification and safety gear for a worry-free excursion. Ready for inshore and offshore fishing, snorkeling, and sandbar adventures, this vessel is equipped with twin 225-HP engines, accommodating up to 5 passengers. On our offshore trips, we typically target Sailfish, Mahi-Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and Marlin (depending on the season). When we fish the reefs and wrecks, you can anticipate catching species such as Snapper, Grouper, Barracuda, King Mackerel, Sharks, Cobia, Tuna, and more!
All trips with us cover the essentials: bait, tackle, ice, water, fishing permits, and coolers for your food and drinks. Once back on land, we’ll clean your catch, so that you can take it home or to your restaurant of choice! Remember to pack essentials for your trip—hats, sun-protective clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a cooler/containers to take home your catch. On a half day trip we will fish the reef/wreck for Snapper, Grouper, Barracuda, King Mackerel, Sharks, Jacks, Cobia, Tuna, and more. Alternatively we can venture offshore for gamefish like Sailfish, Mahi, Tuna, and Wahoo (depending on the season).
This is a 4 hour morning charter suitable for up to 5 passengers.
Your charter will be ready to depart at 7:30am from Keys Fresh Marina.
Half Day Offshore Fishing (PM)

Duration: 4 hours
On a half day trip we will fish the reef/wreck for Snapper, Grouper, Barracuda, King Mackerel, Sharks, Jacks, Cobia, Tuna, and more. Alternatively we can venture offshore for gamefish like Sailfish, Mahi, Tuna, and Wahoo (depending on the season).
This is a 4 hour afternoon charter suitable for up to 5 passengers.

3/4 Day Offshore Fishing

The 3/4 day trips gives you an extra 2 hours to be out on the water. On this charter we will fish the reef/wreck for Snapper, Grouper, Barracuda, King Mackerel, Sharks, Jacks, Cobia, Tuna, and more. We can also head offshore to seek out gamefish like Mahi, Tuna, Sailfish, and Wahoo (depending on the season).
This is a 6 hour fishing charter suitable for up to 5 passengers.
Your charter will be ready to depart at 7:30am from Keys Fresh Marina.
Full Day Offshore Fishing

During a full day charter, it is up to you what you’d like to fish for! We have a full day, which means we can target whatever species is on your bucket list as long as it is in season. We can fish the reef/wreck for Snapper, Grouper, Barracuda, King Mackerel, Sharks, Jacks, Cobia, Tuna, and more. We can also head offshore to seek out gamefish like Mahi, Tuna, Sailfish, and Wahoo (depending on the season).

Aside from the species required to be released by law and some species that may not be recommended as table fair, whatever fish are landed while out on the water are yours to keep!

My brother-in-law and I fished with Captain Kyle back in December of 2020. Decided to book again almost a year later. Both fishing trips were incredible. We got a few wahoo, snapper, tuna, etc! Capt. Kyle know how to put you on the fish. I’m so glad I booked with Far Out again this year. It really another great experience filling the fish box and being on the ocean.
