10 Hour Swordfish Trip

Swordfish, often known as the “Gladiator of the Sea,” is one of the most prized catches in South Florida.
During our night trips, we use squid, mackerel, or various live baits to entice these incredible fish. We typically fish at depths of 1,100 to 1,600 feet, targeting the upper water column.
While the average swordfish weighs around 80 pounds, some can exceed 300 pounds!

10 stars if I could. We had a day we’ll never forget. We caught a monster 61-inch barracuda and a 400-pound bull shark. The look on my boys’ faces says everything. They were amazing with the kids, and from booking the trip to helping arrange a mount for the barracuda, the whole process was top notch. You won’t find a better outfit in the Fort Lauderdale area.

We had the trip of a lifetime with Captain Alex and TJ. We booked it for my 8-year-old son’s birthday and it turned into a day he’ll never forget. Alex and TJ were fantastic with the kids, answered every question they had, and kept everyone involved whether the fish were biting or not. We caught several different species, plus sharks, including a huge white marlin and a bull nurse shark. I’d absolutely recommend Good Hit and plan to book with them again soon.

First time going to deep-sea fishing in Fort Lauderdale and it was so much fun! We fished with Captain Chris. Amazing trip! Captain Adam was friendly and knowledgeable. We booked a three-quarter day trip and ended up catching enough fish to feed a village. Red Snapper, Hammerhead, Shark, African Pompano, Kingfish and more. My son had a ton of questions and Capt. Adam was patient and answered all of them. I highly recommend fishing with. We will be booking again next time we are on vacation.

Thank you Captain Mike for a day that my kids will always remember. My son was very nervous to be on a boat in the middle of the ocean and Captain Mike knew just what to say to ease his mind.
