Islamorada Spearfishing Adventures offers private, all-inclusive spearfishing and lobster charters departing from Amara Cay Resort aboard a 28’ Glacier Bay power catamaran. Owner-operator Captain Jordi is a Florida Keys native, PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, and experienced dive professional with more than 16 years of diving experience.
Charters accommodate up to 6 guests and 4 spearos and are customized for beginners through experienced divers. Depending on season and conditions, guests can target snapper, grouper, hogfish, mutton snapper, yellowjack, and other reef species. Trips include multiple dive locations, in-water guidance, spearfishing instruction, scuba and freediving equipment, spearguns, tanks/NITROX, and fish cleaning.

Our Captain’s boat is equipped with a live bait well, which may be used to hold bait and other smaller fish you may catch.

Our Captains are prepared with all the equipment necessary to catch whatever may swim your way! All the rods, reels, tackle, and bait will be provided to target whatever species you are hoping to catch!
You Keep Catch
Aside from the species required to be released by law and some species that may not be recommended as table fair, whatever fish are landed while out on the water are yours to keep!

Day was awesome!What stood out most was they were available whenever we needed direction, but they also gave us the space to explore and enjoy the experience. If you want to spearfish in Islamorada then book a trip with Captain Jordy! His knowledge of the reefs, structure, currents, and fish was impressive. They adjusted the plan throughout the day and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun, but safety and professionalism always came first. We caught plenty of great fish and had an awesome time doing it. I would book with them again without hesitation.Â
