Welcome aboard North Florida Fishing Charters! I’m Captain Ron Schurr, bringing over 30 years of fishing expertise to Jacksonville, St Augustine, and Amelia Island.
Specializing in light tackle, saltwater inshore, and backwater fishing, I aim to make every fishing adventure unforgettable for anglers of all skill levels. Captain Ron will arrange to meet you at a boat ramp convenient to your location.
You can expect to fish from a 18′ HPX powered by a 115 HP Yamaha motor. This is the most versatile technical poling skiff ever developed and is great for fishing the backwater marshes of Northeast Florida. Our vessel comfortably accommodates 3-4 anglers, and all charters include a fishing license, bait, tackle, and a cooler with ice and bottled water. We encourage you to bring sunglasses, food, sunscreen, and any additional drinks you may want to have.

Additionally, coastal and inlet fishing in Northeast Florida’s waters offers diverse species like Tarpon, Sharks, Bull Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, and Sheepshead.

Upon arrival from your day on the water, your catch will be filleted and bagged for you and your family/friends to take home and enjoy!
Live Bait Well
Our Captain’s boat is equipped with a live bait well, which may be used to hold bait and other smaller fish you may catch.
Rods, Reels, & Tackle
Our Captains are prepared with all the equipment necessary to catch whatever may swim your way! All the rods, reels, tackle, and bait will be provided to target whatever species you are hoping to catch!
You Keep Catch
Aside from the species required to be released by law and some species that may not be recommended as table fair, whatever fish are landed while out on the water are yours to keep!
