Book with Jersey Key Sportfishing and experience the Florida Keys ocean style! Captain Mike, moved to the Florida Keys at 12, where his dream of becoming a Captain became a reality.
On our charters you will fish from a 28′ Whitewater accommodating up to 5 passengers. The vessel is equipped with twin Yamaha engines 200HP, Garmin electronics, electric reels, coolers, live wells, and a large T-top for shade. We pride ourselves in using all top of the line tackle and keep everything in perfect condition.
While fishing with us you can be as hands on or hands off as you would like. We enjoy letting our customers cast and hook there own fish, but we have no problem hooking them for you if you’d like! Upon return to the dock, your captain will clean, filet, and bag your catch for you to enjoy.
All of our charters include your fishing licenses, live bait, water, toilet access, and all the necessary rods, reels, and tackle. All you’ll have to do is pack your essentials (food, additional beverages, sunscreen), bring your enthusiasm, and get ready for an adventure of a lifetime!

A day on the reef is great fishing for first-time fishermen or avid fishermen. While on the reef you can expect to catch Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Land Snapper, Grouper “seasonal”, Barracuda, Sharks, Jacks, and Mackerel.

While fishing the Wrecks off the Florida Keys you can expect to catch some hard fighting fish! While fishing the wrecks we will generally fish with live baits or jigs. The most common fish caught are Amberjacks, Mutton Snappers, Groupers, Sharks, King Mackerel, and African Pompano. While drifting the wrecks we always keep a flat line out on the surface that has a chance of a Blackfin Tuna, Sailfish, and Mahi.

Upon arrival from your day on the water, your catch will be filleted and bagged for you and your family/friends to take home and enjoy!
Live Bait Well
Our Captain’s boat is equipped with a live bait well, which may be used to hold bait and other smaller fish you may catch.
Rods, Reels, & Tackle
Our Captains are prepared with all the equipment necessary to catch whatever may swim your way! All the rods, reels, tackle, and bait will be provided to target whatever species you are hoping to catch!
You Keep Catch
Aside from the species required to be released by law and some species that may not be recommended as table fair, whatever fish are landed while out on the water are yours to keep!
