Welcome to Kingfishing Backcountry Charters in Marathon, Florida, led by Captain Robert! With a lifetime dedicated to mastering these waters, Captain Robert is well-versed in both offshore and inshore fishing and is proud to share his love for the ocean with his clients.
You’ll fish from a 2013 Maverick, powered by a Mercury 115 Pro XS Four Stroke engine. The Maverick comfortably accommodates up to two anglers, and effortlessly navigates the flats without compromising comfort.
Your charter comes fully equipped with essential gear: rods, reels, live bait, and a live well to keep bait fresh while on the move. Throughout the day, we’ll target species like Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, Mangrove Snapper, Sharks and more. This skiff’s versatility guarantees a successful and enjoyable outing.
Your charter package includes fishing licenses, flies for fly fishing, fly rods and reels, and a cooler stocked with bottled water. Feel free to bring along extra drinks and food so that you can enjoy lunch or snacks during your trip.

Our Captains are prepared with all the equipment necessary to catch whatever may swim your way! All the rods, reels, tackle, and bait will be provided to target whatever species you are hoping to catch!
You Keep Catch
Aside from the species required to be released by law and some species that may not be recommended as table fair, whatever fish are landed while out on the water are yours to keep!
