Malcolm Sportfishing is a locally owned sport fishing charter business in Key West whose whole purpose is giving our customers the experience and memories of a lifetime.
Whether that’s hooking you up to a 200 pound tarpon flying through the air, snorkelling the crystal clear waters at the edge of the coral reef, or relaxing on one of our beautiful Floridian sand bars, we’re here to make it happen. Our captain and crew know these waters inside and out, from the shallow flats where bonefish and permit hide to the deep channels where dolphins play.
Whether you’re a family with young children, experienced anglers chasing a trophy catch, or visitors who just want to see the beauty of the Florida Keys from the water, we adjust every trip to fit your needs, creating moments that last a lifetime. The boat is an Ameracat 25 Hybrid Bay boat named Legacy whose spacious interior and shallow draft makes it equally at home in 10 inches of water as it is in 800 feet of water.

Our Captain’s boat is equipped with a live bait well, which may be used to hold bait and other smaller fish you may catch.
Rods, Reels, & Tackle
Our Captains are prepared with all the equipment necessary to catch whatever may swim your way! All the rods, reels, tackle, and bait will be provided to target whatever species you are hoping to catch!
You Keep Catch
Aside from the species required to be released by law and some species that may not be recommended as table fair, whatever fish are landed while out on the water are yours to keep!

We booked a sandbar and snorkel trip with Malcolm Sportfishing and it was such a great experience. The water was beautiful, snorkeling was fun and easy, and the sandbar stop was the perfect way to finish off the day. The captain was attentive and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. Incredible service all around and we’ll definitely be booking again next year.

We booked the Family Fun Day charter and it was one of the best parts of our trip. The captain was fantastic with our kids and made fishing so much fun for them.
