Our trips take place aboard a 22’ Skeeter SX220 bay boat designed specifically for inshore and nearshore fishing in Southwest Florida. This vessel offers a smooth, dry ride and shallow-water capability, allowing us to access backcountry flats, mangrove shorelines, and open water around Fort Myers, Sanibel, Captiva, Pine Island Sound, and the surrounding Gulf.
Powered by a reliable outboard engine and equipped with modern GPS, sonar, chart plotter, wireless trolling motor, and Power-Pole anchoring system, the boat is built for both precision fishing and comfort. The spacious layout provides plenty of room for up to 3 guests to fish comfortably.
Safety is always a priority. The boat carries all required U.S. Coast Guard safety equipment, life jackets, VHF radio, and navigation electronics to ensure a safe and enjoyable day on the water.

Upon arrival from your day on the water, your catch will be filleted and bagged for you and your family/friends to take home and enjoy!
Our Captain’s boat is equipped with a live bait well, which may be used to hold bait and other smaller fish you may catch.
Our Captains are prepared with all the equipment necessary to catch whatever may swim your way! All the rods, reels, tackle, and bait will be provided to target whatever species you are hoping to catch!
Aside from the species required to be released by law and some species that may not be recommended as table fair, whatever fish are landed while out on the water are yours to keep!
I’ve been fishing with Captain Erik now three years and come from the sportsman’s paradise of south Louisiana to do so. Capt. Eric of Sea N Red charters is an excellent captain to fish with. His boat is well kept in and working order. He shares knowledge of the local fish and wildlife. He’s happy to explain how conditions like weather, tide and temperature affect the movement of the fish. Captain Eric is always out on the water hours before the charter Starts throwing the cast net while it’s still dark making sure fresh bait is available to the trip. Everyone who has ever asked me for a charter recommendation I recommend Captain Eric.
I highly recommend Captain Eric! I’ve fished with him twice now.. first time chasing peacock bass from shore, and the second time he made a longtime dream of mine happen by getting me out on Lake Okeechobee on short notice.
Eric is extremely knowledgeable, and if there’s a species you want to catch in Southwest Florida, he’ll give you the best chance to make it happen. I’ve still got a few more fish on my bucket list, so we’ll definitely be fishing together again soon. 🎣🎣🎣
My Grandson and myself chartered Captain EJ when my grandson was playing at the 17U World Series. It was a great decision. We had an awesome fishing adventure!! Captain Erik is great and ensures that we were treated to the best fishing possible. We caught Goliath Grouper and Tarpon as well as all the bait fish (which was almost as much fun)! Thanks Erik!! We had an awesome time fishing with Eric from Sea n Red Fishing Charters. Our family did two 4 hour trips and both were fantastic. Eric put us on some great spots and we caught plenty of fish, including snook, ladyfish, sea trout, and redfish. He was knowledgeable, patient, and great with our kids, making sure everyone had a fun and memorable day on the water. We really appreciated the extra effort he put into the trip.
