Tarpon trips run April through June, targeting the peak migration of these world-class sportfish. Fishing takes place around the Seven Mile Bridge, Bahia Honda State Park, Long Key Bridge, and nearby channels where tarpon gather to feed. Live mullet and pinfish are commonly used, freelined in the current to draw strikes. In addition to tarpon, anglers may also hook barracuda and shark.
Trips are scheduled at dawn or dusk, when tarpon feed most actively. Evening trips include the added bonus of a Florida Keys sunset. Fly anglers are welcome, with an open bow layout that accommodates casting, but personal fly gear must be provided.
All rods, reels, bait, tackle, and fishing licenses are included, along with an ice box for food and drinks. Keeper species will be cleaned and filleted by the crew at the end of the trip.

Perfect Florida Keys fishing trip. Captain Bill had fresh bait ready and knew exactly where to position the boat in the current. Hooked a big tarpon and also caught a couple sharks while waiting for the next bite.
We brought our teenage son on this trip and he’s now obsessed with tarpon fishing. Hooked one right at sunset and it jumped four times. Amazing experience.
First time tarpon fishing and it did not disappoint. These fish jump like crazy. Captain Bill walked us through everything and had us hooked up pretty quickly.
Great tarpon charter. We fished the channels near Long Key Bridge and hooked two tarpon plus a huge barracuda. Captain Bill worked hard the whole time to keep us in the current where the fish were moving.
Did a tarpon trip with a couple buddies and it was nonstop action. Fish were rolling all around the boat and Captain Bill had the bait in the perfect spot. Landed a big one around 80-90 pounds. My arms were smoked.
Beautiful evening trip. The Florida Keys sunset alone was worth it but then we hooked into a tarpon right at dusk. The boat was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room to fish. Captain Bill was awesome.
If you want to catch tarpon in Marathon, book this trip. Captain Bill knows the tides and current around Bahia Honda and the bridges better than anyone. We hooked multiple fish and also had a shark eat one of our tarpon halfway to the boat. Wild night.
Captain Bill put us right on the migration. We were fishing near Seven Mile Bridge and saw tarpon rolling everywhere. Hooked three and landed one giant. Unreal power from those fish.
My husband and I did an evening tarpon trip out of Marathon and had a blast. Captain Bill explained everything and made it really easy for beginners like us. We hooked two tarpon and landed one right before sunset. Watching the fish jump with the bridge in the background was amazing.
Booked a sunset tarpon trip with Captain Bill and it was incredible. Within the first hour we had a huge tarpon rolling behind the boat and hooked up shortly after. These fish are no joke. Bill knows exactly where they travel around the bridges and channels. One of the coolest fishing experiences I’ve had in the Keys.
