You can also explore the historic Fort Jefferson, while taking in stunning views. The boat ride to the Dry Tortugas takes approximately two hours (depending on the conditions), so be prepared for a day full on the water! There are beanbags on board to ensure your comfort.

Amenities:

Safety is our top priority. Our captains provide life jackets and ensure that everyone on board has the necessary safety gear. Depending on the charter, some vessels are equipped with onboard bathrooms for your comfort and convenience. If there is a bathroom on board, it will be clearly listed on the captain’s profile. In addition, majority of our charters provide shaded areas to protect you and your family from the sun’s rays if you need a break from fighting the fish. Want to go back early? No problem! Just let your captain know.

What to Bring:

When preparing for your charter, we encourage you to bring along sunscreen with a high SPF. Additionally, don’t forget to pack a hat, sunglasses, and a towel for drying off incase you decide to cool off in the ocean. To stay energized and hydrated throughout the day, bring along food/snacks and any additional beverages you may want to have. You’re welcome to bring alcohol, but please avoid glass bottles for everyone’s safety while on board. By packing these essentials, you’ll be well-prepared for a fantastic day on the water!

Recommended Age:

The ideal age for children to fully enjoy our Dry Tortugas charters is typically around 12 years old and above. We recommend this age because this trip involves a long day on the water and requires stamina to fully engage in the activities. 

However, we understand that younger children may also be eager to join in on the fun and excitement. In such cases, we encourage parental supervision and assistance to ensure the safety and enjoyment of both the child and the rest of the group.
