Lobstering Trips
What to Expect:
Join us for a day of freediving for  lobster! This activity is a hands-on, engaging way to catch these underwater creatures.
On your trip, you will have the opportunity to learn from expert guides as you learn about lobster-catching techniques, safety, and conservation. Lobsters are most active in the morning and late afternoon, with evening bully-netting charters available. Stealth and patience are key—spot a lobster, dive, and catch it!
We have flexible trip durations ensure the perfect adventure.
Legal Limit:
In Florida, the daily bag limit for spiny lobsters is six per person during the regular season, as well as during the two-day mini-season at the end of July. Always check the latest regulations from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) or local authorities, as rules can change.
Amenities:
Safety is our top priority, so we provide life jackets and all necessary safety gear on board.
Our charters include access to diving equipment, such as nets, tickle-sticks, and weights, so you don’t need to worry about bringing your own. Each charter will specify what’s included in their trip, so don’t forget to read over the charter description.
We also provide bottled water to keep you hydrated during your adventure. Our charters are family-friendly and designed for all ages and skill levels.
What to Bring:
You’re welcome to bring your own gear (however, it is not required). A wetsuit is recommended for warmth. You can also feel free to bring a mask, snorkel, fins, a dive belt, a tickle stick, and/or a net.
A cooler with ice is great option to keep your catch fresh after the charter, and a camera or smartphone is perfect for capturing memories. You may bring food and limited amounts of alcohol, but please avoid glass bottles for safety.
Recommended Age:
Our free diving charters are recommended for participants aged 10 and older.
However, younger children are welcome with parental supervision to ensure safety and enjoyment for everyone.

"My family and I just had an incredible day lobstering in Key West! Our guide was fantastic—he showed us how to use the lobster nets and shared so much knowledge about the marine life. The kids can’t stop talking about it! We’ll definitely be back for another lobster diving trip with Captain Dylan!"
