Lobstering Trips

Join us for an adventure of a lifetime on one of our lobster charters!

This experience not only allows you to experience the beauty of the underwater world but also teaches you a fun hobby. Free diving for lobsters is a hands-on, engaging way to catch these underwater creatures.

What to Expect:

On our lobster trips, our experienced guides will show you the ropes, teaching you how to catch lobsters while exploring the beautiful marine environment. You’ll learn about lobsters, safety practices, and conservation efforts during your time on the water.

Lobsters are most active during the morning, late afternoon, or at night. While diving is strongly discouraged at night, bully-netting charters are available if you prefer an evening adventure under the stars.

Stealth and patience are key—once you see a lobster, you’ll have the opportunity to dive down and catch it!

We offer various trip durations to suit your schedule, ensuring you have the perfect amount of time on the water.

Legal Limit:

In Florida, the daily bag limit for spiny lobsters is generally six per person during the regular season, as well as during the two-day mini-season at the end of July. Always check the latest regulations from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) or local authorities, as rules can change.

Amenities:

Safety is our top priority, so we provide life jackets and all necessary safety gear on board.

Most of our charters include access to diving equipment, such as nets, tickle-sticks, and weights, so you don’t need to worry about bringing your own. Each charter will specify what’s included in their trip, so don’t forget to read over the charter description.

We also provide bottled water to keep you hydrated during your adventure. Our charters are family-friendly and designed for all ages and skill levels!

What to Bring:

When preparing for your lobstering trip, it’s important to come well-equipped.

You’re welcome to bring your own gear (however, it is not required). A wetsuit is recommended for warmth. You can also feel free to bring a mask, snorkel, fins, a dive belt, a tickle stick, and/or a net.

A cooler with ice is great option to keep your catch fresh after the charter, and a camera or smartphone is perfect for capturing memories. You may bring food and limited amounts of alcohol, but please avoid glass bottles for safety.

With these essentials, you’ll be all set for an exciting day of lobstering!

Recommended Age:

Our free diving charters are recommended for participants aged 12 and older.

However, younger children are welcome with parental supervision to ensure safety and enjoyment for everyone.
